11,000 t0 13,000 years is relatively late in human prehistory. The family of Man of that era had been fully human for many millennia.

That is exactly what it proves, and it's a very important thing to prove. We are not so different from the 5000 year old iceman they thawed out a few years ago who died from an arrow to the back or a 12000 year old caveman who liked to draw on walls. People have been advancing technology, language, art for thousands of years along with lying, cheating, stealing, and killing.
