Personally I like the Van Impe's... I've looked up scripture that he's cited and when I have, they don't always support the claims he makes...but I suppose one can write that off to differing interpretations. I do not watch Van Impe any longer(or TBN for that matter), although I know a number of people that are concerned about his embracing of the RCC, but I have not personally seen what he says on the topic.

For the most part I find TBN very embarrassing. I wouldn't want to be associated with them.

I've done the same. What he spouts off is often not in the correct context as his statements.
I don't watch him anymore either. I think they're fine people but embracing RCC is not Christian. He ought to be gently leading them to Christ. I've seen him constantly pit LIBERAL and I mean LIBERAL Protestant clergy against conservative Catholic clergy to promote Catholicism. When the Priest sex abuse scandals all is silent. I don't understand why he doesn't become a Catholic.
