But it sure beats having a good guy get killed by some cornered terrorscum who knows he's going to die, and consider the time invested in spending an afternoon trading shots with two guys who are well under cover. They took the quickest and safest option.
In the grand scheme of things, the cost is minimal. We dropped more ordnance during 'Shock and Awe' than in the whole rest of the conflict combined.
