I didn't sit silently during Clinton's eight years. Do you really think that 2/3 of senators would impeach her for anything? Some of you have no idea how dangerous she would be.

Doug, Like many others here, I support Dubya for the WoT and the SCOTUS picks (Miers being the, thankfully, temporary exception). Dubya's domestic policy is anything but conservative, aside from the tax cuts (which he failed to cover with spending cuts - quite the opposite). He signed the CFR bill - but it was McCain's freakin bill! If anything, McCain's domestic policy would be worse than Dubya's, and I really don't have any sense on where he'd go with judges.

So, as someone on this board who does seem to have some connections or sway (was that you on Hannity last week?), perhaps you could drop the "greater of two evils" pitch and make sure the powers that be at the RNC get it through their thick skulls that McCain is a dead end. Remember, a McCain nomination is not a fait accompli - it can be stopped before the RNC forces people to choose principles over party.
