speaking of funny stories.... with kids....

I took my son (16) to the mall tonight after the Herman Cain Show...

On our way there.. my 6 yr old daughter says, "Mommy, My left leg is asleep"

I said, "I'm sorry honey."

Now keep in mind that the 5 yr old and 6 yr old girls VIE FOR ATTENTION! The 5 yr old makes up stories just to talk and be heard...

SO- we drop my son off... we are on our way back home, and my 6 yr old says, "MOMMY, My WHOLE leg is totally asleep."

I said, "Oh- I hate that! that happens to me sometimes too! It feels wierd doesn't it?"

"Yeah" she replies...

then the 5 yr old says, "SHHHH! QUIET! MY LEG IS ASLEEP!"

Bush has given a speech on Iraq virtually every week. How many have you seen covered by the "News Media"? How come he gives a major speech this week and about 72 hours later we are back to all the same old moaning about "Why isn't Bush fighting back" instead of talking about the Speech? How many of his speeches have you read on the WH Website? How come the same people who complain about Bush give the Congress Critters a complete pass for their complete failure to act as Bush's Echo Chamber?

Here, in a nutshell, is the whole problem. "Conservatives" Pundits have spent so much time crying about Bush this, or Bush that that the line is now sunk into the Accept Wisdom of the Public. No one is even challenging it. They just repeat it endlessly with no comprehension what it means. I am beginning to believe that most older Conservatives still do not grasp what a complete enemy the Dinosaur Media is. QUIT wasting your time waiting for the Dinosaur to convert and actually do their jobs. It is NEVER going to happen. They are, have been, and always will be our enemy. Learn to live with it and over come it instead of hoping against hope their is some magic way to "fight back". I am afraid that the Conservative Movement has simply become so PR inept, it is doubtful they even know how to win anymore. We spend all our time whining about our own instead of actually fighting FOR the truth. The ONLY people on our side who seem to get it are Rush Limbaugh and Hugh Hewitt.

One thing that worries me is that the rats are so well coached and prepared whenever they make these appearances i just heard boxer interviewed by Wallace and she ducked and weaved but never lost a beat with her dnc stalking points. We need to be equally as well prepared.

It's a slow process but more and more conservatives are learning that the msm/left wing media are the enemy. You gottta remember there was a time when they actually covered the news instead of spinning it, like today. Some things take time to evolve, but we are, and the new media does counter the old.

There are no good excuses for those who constantly bash bush.

Hi Bahbah, I'm no McCain fan and he was his usual self for about half his appearance today, but I got a real kick out of the way he "disappointed" Tim today. Tim even accused him of changing what he says because he's going to run for President and has to appeal to the R base. ROTFLMBO.

Tim hated it when McCain pointed out that 1) we WERE greeted as liberating heroes on several occasions in the war, 2)if Saddam were left in power he would have pursued and maybe gotten WMDs (I think they all know info on actual WMDs is about to come out and they've gotta cover..), 3) and most of all--we ARE in a WAR and the enemy wants to DESTROY US and our civilization and, that if we bail out over there, they'll be over here blowing things up because, you bleeping ignorant stupid obtuse moron Timmy--we ARE AT WAR AND THE ENEMY WANTS TO DESTROY US.

It's amazing to me that these dips don't get that. Or maybe they just pretend not to get it so they can keep ragging on Bush--but how can they escape the fact that reality doesn't go away because you don't like it AND THESE CREEPS WANT TO KILL US ALL AND THEY WILL IF WE GIVE THEM A CHANCE. Can the idiots actually be so stupid they don't get it or are they just so suicidal that they'd rather take us all down with them than to lose to us? That's what I think.

This sums up the tragedy of John McCain. He can see the worth in Bush's heroic and self-sacrificing stand in Iraq, but he can't bring himself to muster the same political courage that Joe Lieberman displays.

McCain was required to study Clausewitz at the Naval Academy, but the classic admonitions to assist the commander in maintaining determination in the face of the enemy were apparently lost on John. I will never support his candidacy for POTUS.

Sometimes our reps need a little prodding, but it is equally as important for us to do what ever we can to promote the cause of conservatism. It's a mistake to depend on too many others to do things we can and should do.We can call in talk shows, write letters to newspapers etc. whatever it takes help get the right conservatives elected and no and on.
