That right there is a selling point to us audiophiles. Best I can do in mine is have real tight door/window seals and lots of sound deadener under the carpet. That's good enough, but having no engine/exhaust sound at all is even better.

You'll love it then. No noise. No vibration. Just lovely perfect quietude.

The first time I drove one of these things, I thought they were a lot of hype. I drove it three more times before I bought it. I've not been dissappointed. I knew going in what it would feel and handle like already owning a 2003 model. This one is substantially better in many ways. They really did their homework.

I have no use for the Prius myself. I got into a tiff with the Toyota dealer when I told him it was butt ugly. But it LOVE the Escape enough to buy my second one. The utility of a SUV, the handling of a car. Big on the inside, small on the outside and now fantastic fuel economy and drivability. What more can a person want?
