He lay in the corner
All beaten and scarred
From where Santa had whipped him
Oh so quite hard.
This is an elf
That works in the North Pole
Getting no pay
His dignity stole.
The laws at the Pole
Have no 'Elf Rights'
Can't go outside
To see the northern lights.
Sweatshop 22 A
The place where he slaved
And dreamed of freedom
The thing which he craved.
There were no inspectors
Up there at Santa's workshop
To investigate his cruelty
And put it to a stop.
So poor elfy here
Ran away one day
And Santa went out and caught him
Chasing him in his sleigh.
So as you leave some cookies
For that big cruel tub of lard
Remember the little elves that work
All beaten and scarred.

Well...now you see.
Not everything that is said about old Fatboy is always good! He does have his Bad Days too!
It's good that you remember us elves too!
Thanks for the thoughts of rescue. For those good thoughts, you've earned a place on Santa's Nice List!
