if he'd only do even a cursory review of history he could save himself a whole lot of headaches and failures.
in the anomoly that is Christianity, persecuting Christians is what makes the church grow.
if the goal is to wipe out Christianity, he needs to review the European model for doing so.

My thoughts exactly....As Tertullian said in the 3rd century: "Our blood is seed." Look at Nero, the Spanish Inquisions, etc, each served to simply spread the gospel to other locals, becoming harder to uproot. Everyone is fascinated by someone who has something to die for.

Just think, Saul of Tarsus is probably the most well known persecutor of the early Christians. I sure hope more persecutors of Christians end up like him.
