You can't just throw out a Bible verse and expect people to agree with you. You have to explain why it's relevant to politics. In this case, I don't see why it is.
Sorry, I thought my point was obvious. If Jesus wept over a man (friend) I supposed it was okay for the President to weep and show his compassion. (without being put down for it)
