God Bless you. I know everyday there is a struggle. The lack of city services, jobs, smell and even places to eat and everything else.

I have cried every time I have been to the city.

When I saw the College Inn had flooded (many memories as a kid)

Driving north on Canal at night into the darkness

My old neighborhood gone

Seeing families picking through garbage bags filled with clothes on Canal (I had seen that before in India)

My husband and I lived in Grenada for 2 years, and my mother now says that living in a 3rd world country was pratice for this challenge. It is so sad, but New Orleans reminds me of Grenada now.
