I don't even listen to the guy. I'm just tired of desperate attempts of the bots to intimidate the rest of us into obedience. I grew up in a country where the party serves the people not the other way around.
Everytime my husband and I try to listen to Savage we get soooo turned off by his envy of Rush. It's not an intellectual disagreement, its just plain old ugly envy. That's all we hear when we listen to Savage.
We are scared to be proud for fear that we might be wrong, might be hateful, might be violent or racist - despite that we are none of those things.
Borders, language, and culture - OH MY!

... because he's a mealy-mouthed whiner whose annoying voice masks an inaptitude for sustained thought. Sorry -- I gave mikey his chance and came away disgusted.
thank you
Sure.
No, disdain for the rants of the messenger.
When the messenger attempts to become bigger than the message, the message is lost.
Even Stalin's broken watch was right twice a day.
"Michael Savage tells it the way it is."
His lack of political correctness is very refreshing when everybody is tip-toeing around the issues. I'm listening to him right now, love his show.
Merry Christmas
Thank you.
Some classic Savage-isms
1. The way to win in Iraq cause it's an unmitigated disaster for the US worse than Bull Run or Kaserine Pass according to Michael Weiner, is to start bombing Iraqi villages and then send in death squads to mop up the sympathizers.
2. The way to take care of Iran is to mine their harbors and start the bombing
3. Borders, langauge and culture. What exactly is a American culture Michael? Your Doo Wop Bronx 50's blend of Yiddish entreprneurship and jingoistic xenophobia. Did you learn about America while sailing arond the world engaging in homosexual relationships with your Beat Poets and Berkeley dropouts in the 60's?
4. Corporate greed is good until it's starts affecting good John Birch society wannabees like Savage and his knuckle dragging brand of Whiney-Conservatism. Like the oil companies, food companies and anything with made in China on it.
He's a man educated beyond his ability to think and nasty cuss at that.
He has some points. Bush is not overly conservative, and yet I think Savage is also full of it on some of this. I have always enjoyed listening to Rush, and don't disagree with him very often, but I know I'm not an unthinking Bushbot so to speak. He is our president, and going along with everything he does is not good, but neither is criticizing the war etc. because that plays right into the hands of liberals which is definitely the worse of the two (Bush and liberals) Going to war in Iraq (if allowed to be finished by the troops and not politicians) was a great thing for the future. What did Savage expect us to do in Iraq anyway? Force them all to adopt Christianity? Of course their government will include Islamic law, they'll never agree to a government that doesn't. Savage ought to know that. I think sometimes Savage says these things just to be different, but he really sounds liberal criticizing the war like that. Any thoughts from anyone?
As the old saying goes, Savage is one brick short of a full load.
Discounting the war and natural disasters, that may be the case still.
I forgot to mention that in my last post too, thanks for reminding me. I've heard Bush say it several times, and I don't even come close to listening to all his speeches.
Insults and personal attacks say nothing, but that you lack anything worthwhile to say.
