Will do. My bet is that if moms ever collected notes they could write a book about incredibly rude statements made by individuals while standing in lines. A lot of the extremists out there act as if they will burst if they don't say something stupid. Unbelievable.

What I have never understood about anyone who is confrontational is what they hope to accomplish. Did they expect her to say, "Why, I never thought of it that way?"

I make it a point to not be confrontational because it is generally the least effective way to convince others of the "rightness" of a point of view. It can be fun, it can be cathartic, but it is never productive.

Fortunately, they haven't figured that out yet. And I suppose I'm kind of grateful for that.
