my cousin Lee Roy Jordan played for the Cowboys when they really were America's team...now? well need I say more! and let me tell you, if Lee Roy didn't get in the HoF as probably the greatest defensive player ever, then the coke head Irvin sure doesn't deserve to make it!!!!!

I hated Jordan when he was kicking butt on my Rams. You're right, he was a force against the whole league & deserves a ballot to the hall of fame.
Irvin's history at ESPN.

Well, Lee Roy may not make it into the hall of fame, but he's royalty in Texas. Maybe it's because I'm getting so old, but the old Landry Cowboys seemed like such great guys. I've gotten to meet Mel Renfro, Dan Reeves, and Bob Lilly. Roger Staubach signed my fire helmet.

Don Perkins was one of my favorites, along with Cornell Green and Jethro Pugh. I was glad to see Lance Alworth finally get a ring with the Cowboys, also. Ditka got his only ring as a player with them. Even though Bob Hayes had drug problems later, I'm glad he lived to see himself in the Ring of Honor in Texas Stadium.
