they just might win.

Nope. Because as I pointed out in my last post, Iraq is the battle field where we engage and kill the enemy just like North Africa and a bunch of Pacific Islands "never attacked us" but became battle fields. The "Iraq has nothing to do with 9-11" is a statement of opinion that is completely unprovable and completely irrelevant. Iwo Jima and Okinawa and France never attacked us either. Yet they were battlefields in WW2. Iraq was in violation of international law as sited by numerous UN Resolutions. It was in violation of the Armistice then ended Gulf War 1. It was a continuing security threat to the USA as President Bill Clinton and every Senate Democrat told us in Dec 1998. So Saddam had to be dealt with as part of our over all strategic Military repositioning required by the War on Terror. He was give a chance to comply with International Law, he chose defiance and paid the price for his stupidity. To put it in terms the Loony Left will understand, Saddam was a "Root cause" that empowered the "Atmosphere" of violence that Terrorist in the Middle East thrived on.

Do you really think the left will understand the words you used? You forget, they hear but they don't listen.

Hollywood Conservative takes on the liberal media

ANGERED by negative portrayals of the conflict in Iraq, Bruce Willis, the Hollywood star, is to make a pro-war film in which American soldiers will be depicted as brave fighters for freedom and democracy.

It will be based on the exploits of the heavily decorated members of Deuce Four, the 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry, which has spent the past year battling insurgents in the northern Iraqi town of Mosul. ...

He is expected to base the film on the writings of the independent blogger Michael Yon, a former special forces green beret who was embedded with Deuce Four and sent regular dispatches about their heroics.

Yon was at the soldiers’ ball with Willis, who got to know him through his internet war reports on www.michaelyon.blogspot.com. “What he is doing is something the American media and maybe the world media isn’t doing,” the actor said, “and that’s telling the truth about what’s happening in the war in Iraq.”

Willis is likely to take on the role of the unit’s commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Erik Kurilla, 39, a Bruce Willis lookalike with a chest full of medals, more hair than Willis and a glamorous blonde wife.

Great post! The US was attacked by elements of a radical, Islamic terrorist conglomerate immersed in a culture that is dedicated to America's demise. Whether Iraqis are fond of (or dislike) Saudis, Iranians, or Men in the Moon is of no consequence in the Global War On Terror. We have to fight he slime wherever they may be lurking. The Dims and the peace-at-any-price crowd can whine all they want; we have only just begun to fight a deadly enemy.

Iran will likely fare much worse than Iraq, if they continue on their current course. Idiots like Biden etc. don't even know why they agreed to go after Saddam. Someone ought to remind "Smiling Joe" and the other traitors that it's not nice for rogue nations to convince the US that WMD are a real possibility in the hands of our enemies.
