John Warner, Joe Biden, David Broder, David Gregory, Eugene Robinson, & Judy Woodruff - 1 RINO and 6 Liberals. Nice going Russert. Why even pretend show of balance in guest selection, right? Did Mrs.Greenspan refuse to appear on the round-table?

Seventy percent of people surveyed said that criticism of the war by Democratic senators hurts troop morale

Let 's see if Russert confronts Biden with this Wash.Post poll story

Democrats fumed last week at Vice President Cheney's suggestion that criticism of the administration's war policies was itself becoming a hindrance to the war effort. But a new poll indicates most Americans are sympathetic to Cheney's point.

Seventy percent of people surveyed said that criticism of the war by Democratic senators hurts troop morale -- with 44 percent saying morale is hurt "a lot," according to a poll taken by RT Strategies. Even self-identified Democrats agree: 55 percent believe criticism hurts morale, while 21 percent say it helps morale.

The results surely will rankle many Democrats, who argue that it is patriotic and supportive of the troops to call attention to what they believe are deep flaws in President Bush's Iraq strategy. But the survey itself cannot be dismissed as a partisan attack. The RTs in RT Strategies are Thomas Riehle, a Democrat, and Lance Tarrance, a veteran GOP pollster.

Their poll also indicates many Americans are skeptical of Democratic complaints about the war. Just three of 10 adults accept that Democrats are leveling criticism because they believe this will help U.S. efforts in Iraq. A majority believes the motive is really to "gain a partisan political advantage." There is still support for Bush's policy going forward. A plurality, 49 percent, believe that troops should come home only when the Iraqi government can provide for its own security, while 16 percent support immediate withdrawal, regardless of the circumstances.

This will be the MSM's new front in the War Against the Administration. They will begin their propoganda pieces tomorrow, with segments explaining to the public how RAT criticism is actually good for the troops and the war effort. After six weeks of hammering this point home, a new poll will be released showing the public supports RAT criticism and believes it good for the troops and the war effort.

What a great post anita, and so early.
This really is the whole ball-game, if we can document that rat senators are killing troop morale there will be no counter for them except msm lies. This could counter everything the rats have tried to do to our side for months! Way to go!

I'm not worried that much about the morale of our troops. They will get the job done out of honor and loyalty to each other. What does worry me is the morale of the enemy which the Dems are aiding. Viet Nam redux.

How can this be? Other polls show that nobody in America supports President Bush on anything? The polls should obviously be taken with a large grain of salt. They are written and administered by people who are notoriously in support of Loony Left and the RATS. How about the Administration write and conduct a poll on how well it is doing? I would be in favor of such, but you can already hear the bashing from the left about how the answers are inaccurate and the questions were rigged by BUSH. The man cannot win.

Russerts show was an exhibition in whats wrong with the MSM. Every single journalist on the show this morning repeated democrat talking points verbatim. All anti-Bush and anti-Iraq. Broder and Robinson were worried that people were not going to continue to place all blame on Katrina on Bush. Judy even attacked tax cuts, yet again. You could tell they did not like the administration fighting back. Absoltely atrocious.
