Yes they did and even got some elected, JFKerry comes to mind, Murtha, and of course we got the independent John McCain.

Rahm is a smooth talker and doesn't have that stretched too tight pained look about him. Would not surprise me to see Rahm jockeying for Nancy's position, especially if they think they can retake the House.
