The intelligence to which Bush refers is contained in a top-secret document that was made available to all members of Congress in October 2002, days before the House and Senate voted to authorize Bush to use force in Iraq. This so-called National Intelligence Estimate was supposed to be the combined US intelligence community's "most authoritative written judgment concerning a specific national security issue," according to the Senate Intelligence Committee. The report was titled "Iraq's Continuing Programs for Weapons of Mass Destruction."

If someone had days and days(even months) to research what actually happened I think a good case could be made for almost every assertion made about Saddam in the NIE. on fr for instance there are thread after thread linking to almost every assertion made about him and many other allegatins like the complicity of Saddam at the okc bombing to uniting with N Korea, and Lybia to produce nucs to shipping poisonous gasses to Syria.
The jury is still out on what Saddam's capabilities actually were or were not.
Oh and don't forget satellite photos showing al Qaeda terrorists training in Iraq on how to fly jets on a mock- up of one of our jets.
