This mother isn't fit to raise a child, much less rationalize on and on about "saving a life".
She should have thought of her own daughter's life which obviously she didn't. There surely is negligence involved, and most of it is on her part!
This really stinks. Parents know shes having sex @ 14 and the only idea they have is birth control?
