In The Journey of Man, Dr. Spencer Wells sticks to the land brige theory. The available DNA evidence supports his theory.

Additionally, if the Amerindians got here by sea-faring vessels, did they lose the technology over time? Welcome your thoughts.

The "X-gene" is found in North American Indians, North Africans and to a lesser degree, throughout Europe.

The European progenitors of those guys with the X-gene could have walked here, but odds are best they took boats.

American Indians continued to use boats. They still have them.

Where ever did you get the idea this technology was abandoned?

If they did, where did they come from? The only place possible to do that is from Africa to South and Cental America if you can't sail against the wind.
