And what's interesting about the Yamaha commercial is its presentation. The first half I didn't realize I was watching a Yamaha commercial. One would think if they were so proud of their little bikes, and not trying to relate them to the Harley style, they would put the Yamaha name out there a little better.

I've seen those ads.

They have your attention up until the very end.

Smooth and deceptive...somewhat like the devil...LOL!

The reason is that the yamaha is adopting a "me too" style not a "better than".

I think it is just fitting into giving a "harley"-esque ride for a lower price.

No matter how good the mechanics it is still not a Harley as far as marketing is concerned. (akin to a Rolls-Royce no matter how bad the electric or lack of cup holders was still a Rolls Royce.)

We should all be thankfull that our biggest motorcycle crisis in this country is over name brand plates and not as the ONLY means of transportation in some third world country.
