Well, if you're going to invite liberals over for dinner... Maybe go an alternate route (inspired by the Tofurkey): turn the heat down, do a pure vegan meal, play AirAmerica on netradio, do some yoga or crossdressing instead of TV, say a Wiccan blessing before the meal, etc.
