Conservative 'cup is half full' article!
Mind if I pass this around to my liberal relatives after Thanksgiving dinner?

Pinging you on an item that may give you strength as you give thanks with people with an alternate world view (but who may not be as nice as you are)
Think happy thoughts...like how grateful you are not to be that person :-)

What I hear the Democrats saying -
''We were for the war before we were against it.''
''We were duped by the dumbest man in the world.''
''We Surrender!''

Do people really talk about that kind of stuff at the dinner table?

I am thankful for no liberals in my family that include a brother, brother-in-law, and nephew who were in the Marines.

Thanks for the ping! We'll have a few libs at dinner (we are in San Francisco after all), and this article should help me keep my sanity.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

My family and I argue over politics every holiday.
A typical argument would center around something like "Who would have been a more horrific president? Gore or Kerry?"
I say Gore, because he is half-retarded and a true believer in all that enviro nonsense. They all think Kerry would have been worse, because he is such a lying sack of dog crap.
Can't we all just get along?

If FDR did not act during the economical crisis of the 1930's we would face a Facist or Communist inspired uprising. If Reagan did not loosen the grip of the federal government, we would had a militia uprising in the Western states. Each leader dealt with the crisis of their time accordingly.

If FDR had served "only" 2 terms like any non-dictatorial/non-powerhungry president, then he would have been a failure.
To: stuartcr
Conservatives in my family talk about football, but our black sheep liberals tend to gripe about one thing or another.

Any chance of being adopted?
