.... even though they're trying to make a buck off of your holidays?! Something about truth in retailing comes to mind.
I don't have a problem with a store or chain not celebrating my religious holidays. I DO have a problem with them subverting them, denying the religious association, and claiming they are secular.
That secular business holiday they celebrate is not what I celebrate. They have a misplaced focus and I choose to spend my money elsewhere at this time.
