I've never been annoyed by a Salvation Army bell ringer. Just in case some folks think that the 'ringers' are homeless or beggars, last year my CPA was ringing outside a Walmart.
And no, he's well off.(and good)

my CPA was ringing outside a Walmart. And no, he's well off.(and good) The Mayor of my town rings the bells too. (He's a Republican by the way.)
It's not a political maneuver either since he has been doing it long before he thought about running for Mayor.
