Dodd Pondering a Bid in 2008

At a movie night for political and media insiders last night, Steve Clemons says Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) "unofficially conveyed his interest in running for the presidency in 2008."

Of course this shouldn't be too much of surprise since Dodd almost ran last time and a possible White House bid was a topic of discussion after last year's elections.

FYI. So many senators, and only one can be president, at most. Life is so unfair.

Dodd couldn't be best man at an all-girl school.

It's hard to believe he'd be a serious contender. Stranger things have happened, though.

There are probably at least 20 Dem Senators more likely to get elected president than Dodd..

The Rats have had such success running liberals from New England for the Presidency. They just keep coming back for more.

No Senator has been elected President in 45 years and counting.

This is to funny.

The most Pro-Castro democrat and unrepentant supporter of communist and socialist regimes might run for President.

Even Hillary Clinton has the common sense God gave a screwdriver to realize you shouldn't be an outspoken supporter of Castro in public.

The waitress sandwich could be a problem, although in some circles it gets him votes. But I just don't like the visual, especially with Fats Kennedy being a slice of bread.

Not good.

Back in the 1970's or so, the county something of Cook County, Illinois was caught with a prostitute at age 70 or so, and the voters loved it. They admired his feisteness and virility, when most of his peers were couch potatos, and he won reelecton overwhelmingly. And so it goes.
