According to Matt Drudge, "A careful review of the tape also shows a white colored 'X' transposed over Cheney's face during the speech as well." ...but what about the text below? What does the fine print below the big X say? Does it shed additional light on the sinister plot by CNN to make a mockery of the Vice President's important address to the American Enterprise Institute and the nation?
Unless you are wearing one of these ...
There was a version posted with a white X and white text, and that was easier to invert and enhance.
>>>super secret coded message sent by al qaeda? Nope. Just TV Techie-speak.
If grilled the dems will say this is payback for the time RAT appeared on some democRATs face. Don't remember the network or the democRAT, sorry.
that pic looks more like a grilled cheese 'les miserables'
Transition is the way in which one scene changes to another, such as a dissolve (Scene A fades into scene B), a wipe (Scene A is replaced by scene B with a moving edge), or a key (Scene A has Scene B imposed on top of it, with certain areas cut out or "keyed" as determined by color or luminence so that parts of scene A and scene B are visible together)
Keying is used to place text on top of an image. There's no such thing as "clear" in video. Instead, certain areas are defined to be canceled out so that they disappear. Everything that's left is what can be seen, such as a big X.
A frame is a single image used to construct video. There are 30 frames in one second of video, so 5 frames is 1/6 of a second.
Transition begins after 5 frames of black, simply means that the keying effect (or dissolve or wipe) will commence after five frames of black video have passed.
I drive my wife crazy because I catch black frames,jump cuts, and other events that most people miss. After 20 years of editing video, 1/30 of a second is easy to spot.
I really freaked her out when we were watching "Fight Club", because she didn't catch any of the subliminal images that were being thrown in, and I had to go back and look at every one of them when I caught them.
ike? is that you?
Excellent!
100 members of the audience were polled and asked- "What were the real reasons America invaded Iraq?" We have the top five answers on the board -- Mr. Cheney, what do you say?
D.C: "Well Richard, one of the top reasons we decided to depose Saddam has to be that he was a continuing threat not only to his own people, but also to his neighbors in the Middle East as a known supporter of terrorism."
Dawson: "OK, 'Saddam a Terrorist' .... Survey said:"
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Dick -- that answer wasn't found in our survey ... The top five reasons were:
#5 Appeasing Bush's conservative base {ding}
#4 Oil {ding}
#3 Bush's disregard of the U.N. {ding}
#2 Oil {ding}
#1 H A L I B U R T O N
I can't stand hippies. You all are such effeminate weenies. If not oil, is there anything worth fighting for?
