Dystopianally speaking, I always thought "Brave New World" was far more plausible than "1984" once I'd read both.
"Community, Identity, Stability" - bleah.
*I believe so-called democracies in western civilization are heading toward a synthesis of both BNW and *1984* dystopias.
Present symptoms
BNW: Clone test-tube reproduction & Soma (Meds/MJ)
1984: Politically-correct newspeak = thought control
