Umm, yes, we want to bring the troops home, but we don't want to just abandon the field to wacko liberals and their terrorist sympathizers. When the situation is stabilized, we will bring our troops home.

You know, it is called an 'exit plan.' Something that was absent in Kosovo and Korea. We win, they lose, and the terrorists don't get a new Middle East base. Aww, heck, truth be told, this has been the worst thing for terrorism ever. Not only have they wasted thousands of recruits on military forces, but they've actually succeeded in getting other Arab governments in the area to expend at least a little effort in cracking down.

Another example of unibased juornalism like the Pulitzer Prize winning Walter Duranty who said there was no slaughter by Stalin and the other Pulitzer Prize winning journalist for the Philly Daily News Will Bunch who said the Iraq War and Bush tax cuts caused the New Orleans levees to break.
