[Just mythoughts]

Well there was some rumblings about making FEMA a separate agency outside of Homeland Security in the months after Hurricane Kat. Then today Senator Collins and Lieberman announced a desire to abolish FEMA and recreate another preparedness agency.

While there was not specific mention to my memory of resurrection of the UNION demands I have no doubt that if they abolish FEMA and create another agency directly answerable to the President their UNION demands will be again part of their plan.

Thanks for the info on that. I think I was remembering something else, but still can't recall it--will mention it if it comes back to me. Too much Joseph Wilson must've fried my memory, LOL.
