The level of quarterback play in the SEC makes it not much higher than good old fashioned California high school football. Just take a step back and look at what USC did to Arkansas this year (when Alabama barely beat them) 70-17. LSU is a .500 team in the PAC-10.

When was the last time LSU lost a football game to a PAC-10 school? In the last three years LSU has played and beaten a team from the PAC-10 each year, and two of the games were played in Arizona. You can talk all you want about margins of victory, but the bottom line is the same as the USC-Notre Dame game this year. And that is the better teams won the games.
