Yes, yes, I know it's just a show, but what kind of mother leaves her children in such a way?

And Vorenus will probably latch on to the boy next season, as he is the last born of his wife, whom he loved very much.

As far as she knows, her husband is still a senator of Rome - he would have been well taken care of. Sensibilities were different during that time and wives were replaceable.

And by her worrying about the welfare of the child, I didn't mean his emotional well being but his very life.
