That’s also why our soldiers have more contempt for MSM journalists and Democrat politicians than the Jihadi terrorists — for at least the terrorists are honest about being an enemy, instead of pretending they’re on your side while stabbing you in the back.
Then why don't more soldiers get more public about this? Especially ones whose tour of duty in Iraq is up. What are they going to do when you get home and call the media liars? Take your GI bill away? Let them try!

Nobody would have more influence in American culture than a young angry man calling the media a bunch of liars to their faces. They would have to cover it. As much as they would try to cover it up, they would have to cover it. It would be too newsworthy to ignore.

C'mon Joe, where are you? Get in their faces! Let them know!

No, they wouldn't, it would end up on the cutting room floor and our guys know it. It's going to take a live press conference, with most of the world watching. Even then, with the five second cut off I wouldn't put it past the dishonest journalist to cut them off so it can't be heard.

What they can't cut off though, is 160,000 soldiers all returning home to tell their friends and families. That word will begin traveling fast, and the local papers will print it. The small local papers are the only ones who still have honest people working for them.
