I think Sheriff West is the sheriff that Congressman Culberson was referring to. However, to be perfectly honest, I wouldnt be able to testify to that if I were put on the witness stand. Best thing to do is to find out from Congressman Culberson, himself. Sheriff Gonzalez from Zapapta County was mentioned by Congressman Culberson in the interview - but not in reference to a captured al Qaeda infiltrator. He referred to Gonzalez as a source who verified that there was terrorist camps across the river in Mexico. By the way, my work used to take me down to Zapata County, I am quite familiar with that area. I used to spot illegals quite often.
