There was an article in the El Paso paper yesterday that said when agents attempted to stop the truck- it fled back to Mexico. I don't think it was headed to Mexico to begin with, but away from the border on I-10.

It is very common where I live for suspects to try to flee back across the border if they are pursued near it. Happens all the time.

"On the Rick Roberts Show Congressman Culberson said one of the Al Qaeda members he knew of being captured and held at the Hudspeth County Jail in West Texas (recently picked up by the FBI) was operating across the river from El Paso for at least a year. During that year he had been keeping a diary of the movement of people, law enforcement officers, wildlife, and climate patterns. Hmmmm… Wonder why he was tracking those climate patterns?"
