I'm sorry but this story sounds like a fairy tale. Is there another corroborating source? Why didn't anyone use a radio to call in for support. Why isn't there more detail provided as to the description of the armed assailants.

I want to know vehicle, make and model, license plate numbers, descriptions of the armed assailants, the time and exact location of the incidents. What Mexican military patrols were in the area at the time of the incident.

How many armed men were there? Police vehicles typically have automated survelliance cameras in them. Is there any video footage of the incident? How many border patrol officers were involved?

Was the Mexican government contacted to this incident?
What has the official response been?
Where is the coverage?

Good Luck getting your questions answered.

These incidents do happen regularly on the border. Witnesses tell the same story, the men coming up from Mexico are dressed in military clothing, either no insignia or no one gets close enough to see one, BUT they don't just have the clothing, they are heavily armed with military type weapons and they usually have military type vehicles. They are actively helping smugglers. Whether they are Mexican military or a private group of thugs outfitted by smugglers is anyone's guess. However, firearms laws are very strict in Mexico- not just anyone can have one, that is a fact. So whoever it is, the Mexican government has to be at least aware and turning a blind eye.

I know it is hard to believe a story like this, but I do believe it, and have heard worse, in Arizona these military types have shot at BP, and rammed BP vehicles. No one wants to report these incidents- so usually they are reported only locally and very little is reported there, until another one happens. One day there will be a battle and there will be dead BP, or US citizens and also dead military types from Mexico and then it will be hard to keep it quiet. I expect that to happen any day, and am surprised it hasn't already happened.

You obviously do not live in California or Arizona or you would not post this. This kind of crap happens every month or so down here!

There have been other threads on FR about this subject of incursions from military types from Mexico- here is one link:

Well, I suppose, since you think this is a fairy tale, you can call the writer of this article and his named sources and ask them. Though law enforcement will likely give you little to no specific information, they may confirm this story is not a fairy tale, as it appears you wish to believe.

If you need more very specific information that law enforcement decides to withhold and which would only then allow you to believe this isn't a fairy tale, you could hire a lawyer, file a lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act, perhaps, and maybe you'll get make of car, color of car, license of car, height and weight of suspects, time of day, etc. This kind of information may be received after filing your discovery demands on the District Attorney's Office, or some other office; of course, if the investigation is ongoing, the District Attorney may file a motion for protective order, which the Judge may grant.

I don't know how one goes about making a doubting Thomas believe or an adult see they're not reading fairy tales.
