With this many nay votes, where is all of the media hoopla coming from? Makes one wonder what gives here.

Is voting Present the same as a "NO Contest" plea?

I think of it, rather, as a clear admission of "No Guts". The Ayes raise their arms high and shout to our troops in Iraq, "Run, Surrender!" The cowards voting Present still crouch low, hidden in their spider holes clutching white flags to their flabby, wheezing chests.
