Murtha should be sent to hell to burn forever for his and the Democrat Party's treason!!! These vermin Democrats are killing American servicemen with their treason. This is a political party that should be totally destroyed at the ballot box by the American people.

" We are giving back what they serve us all the time."
- No matter how this plays out in the vote tonight, I think it's clear that this maneuver by the Republicans has put a major crimp in what has been shaping up to be a long term, coordinated, MSM/ Dem strategy to erode support for the President and the war.
Ever since their success with the Sheehan story, the media has grown increasingly confident that they have regained their hold on public opinion. The Dems, sensing their support, have grown increasingly vocal and radical in their attacks - knowing that the MSM will support and megaphone anything they do.
By forcing out this vote, the Dems will think twice before reactivating their policy of shrill attacks.

Make mo mistake
If that brave lady congressperson's words didn't threaten the saddamites, they wouldn't be up in arms.
They KNOW this has the potential to come back and bite them in the ass in a BIG way during next years elections.
That is, if we go after them the right way.
Can you imagine the anger in flyover country if commercials are done properly?
To: billhilly
I think both parties are full of political vultures, but I think this is an especially lame move by the Republicans so I said so. It's how I feel, the DNC didn't call into my earpiece (if I had an earpiece, Libertarians would be whispering into it, fyi).
Are you guys always this hostile to anyone who doesn't use ridiculous name-calling to reinforce the marching line? RARR DEMONRATS RARRH.

Lame political stunts work.
The neo-marxist left, aka democrat party, has utilized the
Big Lie technique to great effect.Their lame political
stunts are now being trumpted by a politcal jujitsu
move, using the enemies own energy against him .
To: MamaLucci
Unfortunately the Left have been undermining our troops and our country and need to be called out on to the carpet. The Left's thinking is dangerous and it is in the troops best interest that their cancerous beliefs be fought now and at every turn.

Like minds "exactly"{what i have been thinking). They have been running rough shod over us for months with the usual msm cooperation. Finally they just might start thinking twice before they do their "stuck on stupid" maneuvers designed to make us look bad and them look good during a time of war.The party is over.

Best idea is to wait 6 months,
then hold the same vote that is
happening tonight.
Piecemeal Murtha wants to leave well, piecemeal, in 6 months.
No difference, time to call out the cut and run al-quaeda cowards in the USA.
To: Sols
"This is not a victory for anyone, it's just sad."
Victory and Congressman Murtha don't belong in the same post.
Congressman Murtha is calling for defeat of our US Troops because, he, in his safe place in DC has decided to interfer.
You can't paint it any other way, no matter how hard you try.

I agree that, GIVEN THE LIBERAL MINDSET, this must be fought out now, even while we are still at war..............but, that doesn't make it any less disgusting, especially to those that are actually in harms way in the WOT. May God bless our troops, and their families.

Why is no one disgusted by these politics?
Because we have seen and heard so much the past few years that this is nothing compared to the filthy politics being played by the democrats. If it exposes their hypocrisy I have no problem with it-especially politicians who voted to send my brother to war and now want to back out because they stick their finger in the wind and see which way the polls are going and are afraid of their political asses. Disgusted? You havn't seen anything yet.

Murtha, having served in Viet Nam, became accustomed to losing, so he thought he would lay one our present fighting force! He IS a coward!
