The AP has a story saying: Democrats said it was a political stunt and quickly decided to vote against it in an attempt to drain it of significance.

UGH! Nutcase Sheila Jackson Lee is speaking on the floor now. She had a chance to vote to pull out the troops but she didn't so anything she's saying now means jack...Ah, she says it wasn't a "serious" debate. Sickening...and FOS!!

When the Mars Pathfinder landed in Arris Valles, in 1997, she asked if it could see where Neil Armstrong set down.
Armstrong landed on the Sea of Tranquility, on the Moon. Arris Valles is on Mars.
