Anyone watching CNN already has their mind made up anyhow.

I'm afraid I know too many people up here in the northeast (including friends and family) who are Republicans/independents/swing voters, etc., who only pay for basic cable or "America's Top 50" on Dish Network (I don't know about DirecTV). CNN is the only cable news network included in these basic packages.

Also, there are far too many people up here who STILL believe CNN is THE cable news network to tune into, based on its success back during the Gulf War in the early 90s. They're not all necessarily liberals, just "busy" and misinformed...

CNN has less than half the rating of Foxnews. In fact Foxnews ratings are higher than CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC combined. I do not worry about how CNN is affecting the public opinion, they have very few viewers and half of them are conservatives and Republican who just want to torture themselves when listening to CNN.
