They just had a parliamentary question about who actually introduced the resolution. The chair said that it was a Republican, and the Democrats are complaining that: 1) this is NOT a Democrat resolution, and 2) they're impugning the reputation of Murtha by calling for this vote (have you no shame?). It seems that they want the luxury of using the floor of the House to say all sorts of things, but they don't want their words on floor to actually be taken literally.

What's funny is the Democrats do NOT want to vote. They want to discuss it more. Well, that's too bad. Democrats have been quite ready to make claims and they've discussed it all over the place. So, NOW they can stand and be counted or be exposed as the fools they are.
