Gotcha Covered RW.
Your comments below are an excellent diagnosis/description of the mentally ill of the lunatic left:
"It's amazing, isn't it? They truly come from a warped, alternate universe in which everything operates in reverse. There is not one shred of truth, logic, common sense, or reality in their thought process. Debating with them is a waste of time, because they will never be enlightened, regardless of how "enlightened" they consider themselves to be. They are warped and twisted, and it is impossible to straighten them out. They become more delusional with each and every passing day, and they're completely unaware of it, completely out of touch."
"They are afflicted with a disease, and it is not an organic, mental illness. It is a spiritual illness. The only cure for this illness is the Truth -- and the Truth is what they reject and fight against with every fiber of their being. They are the very Lie made flesh."
He is like the groundhog. He will pop his head and shriek his inane comments until he gets zotted as a varmit troll.
I finally got around to researching some of the details relating to "who's the skunk" and what the issues are on renewal of the Patriot Act. A few links below, none of which I've spent much time analyzing.
Specter is NOT threatening to delay the House/Senate accord.

Article regarding the effect of the letter (excerpts quoted below)

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican, is in talks with Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont, the panel's senior Democrat, and other lawmakers to build support for the accord [an agreement between House and Senate reelating to details of what the Senate would pass].Specter and his House counterpart, Representative James Sensenbrenner, a Wisconsin Republican, are trying to seal an agreement so it can be approved by both chambers before lawmakers leave at the end of this week for the Thanksgiving recess.
``We're working on it,'' Specter said. When asked about Feingold's threat to filibuster, he joked, ``He's got strong lungs.''
Senator Richard Durbin, the No. 2 Democrat, said Republican congressional leaders shouldn't underestimate the opposition to the accord.
Durbin said he would support Feingold's efforts to block a vote on the agreement. He declined to say whether enough Democrats would support the effort to sustain a filibuster, which requires 60 votes to overcome.
Durbin, Feingold, Sununu and three other senators sent a letter to Specter, Leahy and Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Pat Roberts and Jay Rockefeller, the panel's senior Democrat, saying they would oppose the agreement unless ``significant'' changes were made. ...
Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Larry Craig of Idaho and Democratic Senator Ken Salazar of Colorado also signed the letter.
... the House legislation provided fewer checks on government authority than the Senate version.
Senator Jeff Sessions, a member of the Judiciary Committee, said he was concerned Democrats and civil-liberties groups are trying to weaken the FBI's ability to conduct terrorism investigations.
In the current agreement, which he supports, ``We actually have more restrictions on terrorist investigators than on prosecutors and police all over America,'' said Sessions, an Alabama Republican.
Leahy still holds out hope a broadly supported agreement can be reached, said Tracy Schmaler, his spokeswoman.
Thanks for the update on that.
Hope you don't mind I'm going to copy some of that over to the Seante thread.
Not at all. Here are a few more ...

Dressing up and acting like something you are not, to make others think that's what you truly are, can't be mentally healthy.
Could there be such a thing as Political Transvestites?
GREAT NEWS FREEPERS!

Did you see Murtha on Meet the Press on Sunday?
He sounded like he was using Michael Moore sound bites. He even revived the old, discredited "not enough armor" line. Sheesh!
I noticed that Tim somehow forgot to line up a rebuttal from the right for that trash.
*sigh*
As long as we don't expect a fair shake, we won't be frustrated.
I never watch the Sunday morning shows. :-)
You done got the zot. Enjoy your karma.
First trollhunt I've participated in. Interesting. I suspect more will float to the surface as defeats anger them.
St.Chuck started saying "The more stridently and desperately conservatives defend the pretext for the war the more foolish we look."

He also lied like a rug in this post:

Then he said the Salman Pak terrorist training camp wasn't a training camp.. perhaps he thought it was an amusement park instead?

He got the zot in that thread.
Yet he was here for five years. Was it the pain of his side seriously losing that cracked his cover? More to crack?
There will be more revealing themselves.
He was feeling around here to guage the mood after teh Murtha showdown.
There will be others.
