Doesn't matter. He said what he said, and that's the point. It's a court trick. The "Jury" never forgets what was said. ven if it's "stricken" from consideration.
Davis called them out for acting like children while the ADULTS are fighting in the field.

There is more letter reading now. I watched his statement from yesterday (Cspan replayed it tonight). Murtha actually cried about a wounded soldier whose family wanted a Purple Heart for him but he claimed the soldier was not getting the Purple heart because he was wounded in friendly fire. Murthat starts crying - saying give him the Purple heart or you can give him one of mine......
If that is not self serving emotional crap I don't know what is.
I thought I was listening to John F ing Kerry.
I don't care how wonderful Murtha has been - he is now an official leader of the PARTY OF TRAITORS and the sooner someone out there starts saying it the better.
(If they can call our President a LIAR, we can call them what they are: TRAITORS who are HELPING the ENEMIES of AMERICA.

I am still reeling from reading the comment that Murtha told the interviewer that terrorism BEGAN against us when we invaded Iraq and abused our power at Abu Ghraib!!!!!! HE IS SICK IN THE JOHN KERRY STYLE!
We had better call our reps and let um know about this interview!
Have any doubt about the timing and choreography of Murtha's statement?

"Lee wrote to Davis... (paraphasing) Obviously the wrong people are in charge of the Army. Why is it that those who know best sit at home and write editorials instead of going to war. The Confederacy would be better served if the editors and the generals changed positions. Then the editors could lead the war effort, and the generals could critique their effort."
Thanks for posting this. Lee was exactly right. Ass holes at the NY Slimes, WA Compost, and on the Hill (all Democraps and some Republicans) are great arm chair generals. After 9/11, I thought this country finally learned its lesson. It's clear they did not. I just hope we survive the next lesson from the terrorists.

That whole thing with Lantos was purely for show. The Indiana Repub made reference to Murtha's resolution when the precise matter being debated is Duncan Hunter's resolution. So, Lantos asks "what resolution is being debated" and Dan Akroyd says "that's a matter for debate. The Dems go wild. So just to calm them down, the Ind-Repub says sorry, didn't mean to suggest we're debating the Murtha resolution, can we now get back on track (Losers)?
No big deal, just Dem grandstanding.
