they'll vote and say the pubbies forced them into it because what the pubbies wanted them to vote for was misrepresenting what they asked them to do, lol.
in other words, they'll lie of course.

As soon as possible he needs to be in the Senate. There are rumors on Iowa's Political Grapevine that my friend, Steve King will challenge Tom Harkin.

The RATS are going to cry that this will take away old ladies social security checks and is pure, blatant McCarthyism.
Tomorrows slimes headline:
McCarthyism is alive and well with the Republicans.

the House Dems will vote overwhelmingly against the "immediate pullout" then switch the terminology to "planned redeployment" and they will agitate and demand to put the US military and civilian command structure through a series of public hearings starting next week.

(I was misled. I actually voted for war, before I wanted to use 20/20 hindsight and vote against it.)

Nobody reads the print press anymore. Those who did are now on Free Republic. The rest never cared about the news and never will. They take their sound bites from radio and television or what their 'cool friends' think.

Notice how many of the Republican speakers have actually put boots on the ground in Iraq, visited for first hand knowledge.
And how few, I don't remember hearing one yet, on the demorat side that's actually been there.

I sent my son to a psychologist...he wouldn't hand in his work because it wasn't "perfect" and he was failing his freshman year of college. (1290 on SAT's) She asked him..."What's your favorite movie?" and he gave her "Office Space." She told me..."This film is subversive...highly hilarious, but subversive. You have a real problem on your hands."
I am trying to get the kid to read :"The Road Less Travelled" by M. Scott Peck.
The one that begins " ...life is difficult." ButI have already acknowledged defeat. Until the mating urge kicks in -- there is nothing that will make my son compete...

Was the letter Schmidt from a serving Marine on active duty or otherwise? It came from retired Col. Jack Murtha, who was sitting at home and heard some old guy saying we should pull out. Jack was motivated to write to Jean and express his outrage.
