GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
All the Republicans did was to put the vote in the positive. Vote to support the troops or not.
It's still going to be fun to watch, so break the popcorn and beer back out.
Tried to send this to Hayworth, but I don't live in Arizona. Kept rejecting my message. Anyone have another contact for him?
MESSAGE TO HAYWORTH: I live in California. Just wanted to say thank you for calling for the vote tonight on Murtha's proposal to pull out of the war. God bless you Mr. Hayworth. You are a great American! I hope this exposes the anti-American agenda of the left.
(these will be good TV sound bites!)
The Vulcans go nuthin on that woman.
"the house democrats are now crying how unfair it is."
Those dirty rats! Giving us what we asked for! How dare they. It's so unfair. Whaaaaaaaa!!!!!
Robert Blake on MSNBC now. *snicker*
"No. The Amendment will clearly state "Do you support immediate withdrawal of the troops?" That's what a member just said.
Turn on CSPAN right now. The discussion has already started."
WHEW..good. LOL some lame dem is on now spitting mad..going to make popcorn now!!
I heard on the radio yesterday there is very little public suport for a troop pull out. I want every one of these sniveling DemoCowards on the record! Let the American people see who's ready to surrender to the terrorists.
IF the Democrats don't show up, they automatically label themselves as avoiding their claimed convictions. The way it's all framed Democrats have created a lose-lose situation for themselves. IMHO.
Ha!! David Obey is on now. He's upset that he has to vote!!
I just wrote an e-mail to my twitty rat rep. Hopefully he isn't on the fainting couch yet, but he may still have a yeast infection.
Won't do much good, but one tries.
Not only is this good politics, it's good democracy. Let's either decide to see this thing through to the end, or get out now. It's time for this country to make a decision!! Nanci and the rest of you Dems and you RINO's.....what's it going to be? Humiliating surrender or victory? We want to know....

Obey whining, saying that there should be hearings first, blah, blah, blah.
Obey saying that the resolution was meant to inspire hearings as to how to address the situation in Iraq. This action is disgraceful. It is nothing less than an effort to drive a stake through the heart of the Murtha resolution without any effort to get at any of the facts about Iraq.
"Thoughtful hearings are necessary. It is an abdication not to think this through."
This is great! It's got the Democrats back on their heels. Obey is spitting he's so discombobulated.
He said he will support the Murtha resolution, though you can tell he doesn't like being put in this position.
I thought Obey was going to burst!
And people were worried about the 2006 elections???? All it takes is a COUPLE of these tactics and the Dems are forked. They CANNOT vote "against" the war, and they can't appease their rabid, looney base by voting for it. Bwa-hahahahah.
David Obey D making a fool out of himself whining like a looser...
I'm listening to C-Span ... The Democrats are sooo mad !!!
Have a new bumper sticker: "DEMOCRAT, THE PARTY OF COWARDS AND TRAITORS"
