GOP Pulls Fast One... Tells Dems: Pull Troops Now? Okay, then let's vote!!!!! Tonight. 7 p.m. in House... Ultimate showdown...
I can't endure this debate. I will have to switch channels during the time of the Traitors tirades. But I am gonna be right here for this vote and also be calling Congress as soon as I can scrape up some Congressional phone numbers to give them some backbone.
Call Gingrey's office - thank him. Call ....excuse me.....
(to the TV - shut your stupid lying face up...., you Traitor)
I have friends who've gone to La. on promises of federal contracts in roofing that pay $8k per month. I understand the housing is close to half that $.
They are just showing the earlier debate.
Good thing he wasn't on PT-109.
I don't understand why the Dems were so incensed over Jean relaying a message from one of her constituents to Murtha. I guess Dems really don't believe in representative government.
How can we come to a consensus with people who think America is a "Right Wing Christian Fascist" nation ran by Hallibutron and the Illumaniti?
Don't be disheartened. Far less than the 40+ percent you mention make up the delusional, leftist core that think irrationally. They are lost, probably forever. There is a good portion of the 40+ percent that vote with the Dems for reasons that are not rooted in ideological convictions. Many of these formed their voting habits for vague or convenient reasons at a time in their lives when Liberal media was the only information easily available.
The information sources and available resources for debate have changed tremendously now (e.g., FreeRepublic). Many Dem voters can be convinced with persistent, calm, reasonable arguments but it will take time. Political conversions happen far more frequently now than ever before. It's worth the time and effort to try.
Schmidt quoted an email from a marine, saying "COWARDS CUT AND RUN. MARINES NEVER QUIT."
That's when the Schmidt hit the fan.
McGovern from MA - first he complains we spent too little money, then too much money! A Kerry disciple for sure! Oy!
"The GOP better not fold."
Regretably, the GOP has been the party of origami lately.
Eeewwwwwww. I wouldn't want to be his toothbrush.
They are showing Rep Jim Mcdermott (Rat-MA) while he is crying and whining about this vote being about politics! Charging Pubs with "Political Theatrics" by wanting to take this vote.
Are all Rats this stupid?
No kidding! And it's bigger than just "MURTHA". Glad to see you are paying attention. :) No wonder the Dems are in "secret closet" meetings, at present. ahem. ;>
Ther only thing this guy hasn't said, is Haliburton.
Soon to come, I'm sure.
This is debate taped from earlier, I believe.
I hope every single Iraqi-American is paying attention to this.
They do...just as long as the people agree with them.
I'm behind, totally. This thread is moving faster than any other one I've seen on FR.
The one thing that came to mind is "play with fire and you're going to get burned." The time is now to pay the piper and the Democrats are screaming foul. ROFLOL They have NOBODY to blame besides themselves. THEY caused this and they get to pay.
Same here...I just hope that the Republicans aren't saying something like, " OK, we won't hold the vote and you won't say no more mean things about the war?"
