God, would I pay money to see someone cane that fat you-know-what on the floor of the Senate. Poetic justice if it was a relative of Mary Jo Kopechne.

Sorry, that wasn't me, but I agree and laughed myself.

That's the best talking point the DNC could come up with? They're off their game tonight.

We need to be on the phones to the Republicans in Congress....you can bet the moonbats on on their phones pretending to be Republican constituents.
Quick can we get a posting of a link to the Congressional phone lines?

I'm not familiar with C-Span radio or XM. Probably best to stay right here on FR and we'll report the House vote results as it comes in.
I do know DIRECTV is now carrying XM music channels (800s), but apparently no news/talk channels. Just tunes.

God, this is taking foreverYes. It is. It's taking so long it makes clear that the Dems don't mean what they are braying about. The vote should have been a snap decision by those Dems screeching for withdrawal.

I was under the assumption that C-Span covered Congress when in session.C-Span will probably preempt the vote for a rerun of "Booknotes," featuring an interview with Doris Kearns Goodwin reminising about the 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers.

Oh, sure; they can call Bush a liar all week, but for a few hours we're not suppose to politicize the war?

Elk stew ... sounds interesting!

I wonder if the Dems are calling in all the guys who had already gone home for the day. After all, it's Friday and, for Dems everywhere, the weekend begins after lunch.
In the tradition of good union members, they will probably ask for time-and-a-half for showing up to vote after hours.
