Who needs Tokyo Rose or Lord Heehaw, when people like Murtha aid and abet our enemies from Washington, DC?

Tokyo Rose = The Democrat Party

LOL. I have my own TV, too. Here in the computer room. I have seven grandchildren (ages 24 to two) and just turn over the TV in the family room to them. The two-year old rules!

ROTF! Well summarized. And the Dems right now are probably doing their version of Johnny Carson's 'Tea For Two' dance.

My computer and TVs are in different rooms. Besides, I can't stand watching those Congressional blowhards sometimes, so I might as well just glean info from the thread.

Murtha on Hardball: "Victory is not a strategy." = WTF?

WTF is right. I haven't got a clue what he means.

They are grasping at anyting they can use to delay or stop the vote. Understand the real issue. Democrats do NOT want to vote and be exposed.

Well, I hope Frist is right.
I know I heard him meniton they may do a Saturday session.

I'm quite interested in the status of the Patriat Act renewal - guess I'll have to hunt down a Bill and Conference report ;-)

[Page: S12721] - 5 . SCHEDULE -- (Senate - November 14, 2005)

FRIST: The next question: When does this week end? Does it end Friday afternoon, Saturday, or Sunday? I cannot answer that yet until we get a little bit further.

There is a chance we could do all of that by late Friday afternoon. However, if it becomes necessary to stay longer, either into the weekend on Saturday or into next week, then we will certainly do just that. Senators are going to have to remain flexible with their schedules beyond Friday. I do want to at least throw out that a weekend schedule would be possible because I know a lot of people have things scheduled. So please keep your calendars flexible.

In December, I can also say the following just for planning purposes, and that is that we will not be in for votes in December before Monday, December 12. I will not know until later this week, Saturday night or maybe Monday night of next week exactly what the plans will be for the week beginning December 12. So again I ask our colleagues to keep their schedule flexible in case we have no choice but to return sometime during that week.

Your post 2014 - thank you. Exactly right. Just when you think you cannot fight any longer, they pull one of their weeks of treason as they have this week and you just decide - this is it - we have to fight on. These communists will never stop until America is either total socialist/communist outpost or destroyed. We have to keep fighting the good fight. Our soldiers are fighting with their bloood sweat and tears. Those of us here who understand what is at stake can simply do what small part we can do. But what we can't do is give up! The cost is too great.

Secondly, once this vote is done, they can't change their stance for each audience they have at their re-election rallies.

But thet WILL try.
