I hope those children will NOT be asked questions about sex as the K kids were asked.
The government controlled preschool is a nightmare.
This is where libs and demsheviks brought us to...

Instead of property tax and income tax increases, Reiner instead should propose a 50% luxury tax on all movie tickets and TeeVee sets sold in California. Aside from providing funding for his pet project, it would greatly reduce children's exposure to violence, hate and smoking marketed by Big Hollywood. It's for the children...

My guess is that this will pass. Since 99% of Californian's won't pay this increased tax, (at least this year), it looks like free money to California residents.

Never mind that this is yet another disincentive for making a living in California and will drive more businesses and individuals out. California believes in the free lunch. They want cheap gasoline, but no new refineries or offshore drilling. They want cheap electricity but they close down functional nukes.

Why on earth wouldn't they support this?

The super-rich in California tend to vote Democrat. I'd say that voters in California deserve the government they vote for.

And this ballot proposition Moronfornia will vote for, while rejecting the important reforms the governor put forward. God help this state.

I woulda thunk that Californians fleeing to Oregon were conservatives, not liberals. Why would a liberal want to leave their PC/socialist wonderland.

Personally, I'd be happy if all the liberals would flee California, to like... Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, the "top 0.6%" will leave the state.

Maybe not.
A guy earning $400K+ isn't just drawing a paycheck & probably several "alternatives" available.

You read my mind. First Four year old, then three, then two.
This is Ayn Rand's nightmare.

Maybe not a luxury tax but a better situation for the "children" would be a VERY HIGH tax on R rated material from the sewer that comes from the entertainment industry.

This just in! September 3, 2025 California schoolmasters drill 6 month olds on political correctness! Debate whether six months of parental interference in upbringing of children is thwarting Education Association efforts to save them from forces of reaction!

You need someone to serve as an example of how not to do things.

I thought that's what Davis did. It doesn't seem to have helped much.

Davis definitely did that. But Californians tend to have short memories.

They sort of remind me of the comment my daughter made about the fish in her fish tank. She read that they can't remember what they were doing five seconds ago.

California hit the wealthy with an extra percentage of wealth tax about a year ago. The messages we are sending is for the wealthy to flee the state.

I wonder if there is still a state tax on your home if you sell and move. I know there was one.
