What do you think about cooking a ham in a crock pot?

Not the best way to prepare that ham.. Your ham is undoubtedly precooked and as such, that low dry temperature will dry out the moisture in the ham.. A Crockpot is by definition a very slow cooker, which tenderizes heavy meats, and allows liquids like soups, stews, and pot roast to slowly cook without boiling away, with minimal evaporation..

YOu were so right about the ham. It's ok, but as my husband said this morning when he tasted it, "This will be good for sandwiches."

Lesson learned. :-)
