This is what lefties claim. They claim that Clinton destroyed ALL of Saddam's remaining WMD's when he launched airstrikes in 1998-1999.

I would classify uranium in the hands of Saddam as a WMD or at least a WMD-in-waiting, so they obviously didn't get all of it. That is my only point. Reasonable people would not explode a uranium storage facility, but unreasonable lefties claim they were all blown up in bombing.

But don't you think they should have made an exception in this case and taken ALL uranium from Saddam. That's like putting candy in front of a kid and telling him not to eat it.

They removed the highly enriched uranium in 1992. Why leave the rest?
